Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute

TARI Makutupora Centre has established partnership with different agricultural stakeholders including TARI-centers in crops research and development aspects. Current the Centre works with TARI-Naliendele Centre on groundnuts research trials, TARI-Kibaha Centre and TARI- Ukiriguru Centres on root and tuber crops aiming to assist farmers to improve crop productivity and quality. Other agricultural stakeholders are Local Government Authorities (districts and regions), Government Institution like Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) private sectors such as Breweries Tanzania Distilleries Limited (TDL) and Tanzania Breweries Limited (TBL). Furthermore, the Centre collaborate with the  International Research Institutions include International  Institute of Tropical Agriculture(IITA) and International  Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics(ICRISAT) and The Centre for Coordination of Agricultural Research and Developmentfor  Southern Africa (CCARDESA)
