About 64 students from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Department of Soil and Geology who are in the Tanzania Agronomy Society(TAS) visited Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute, TARI Makutupora Centre on 31st May, 2024.
The visitation aims to learn about grape production and management, post-harvest handling and processing. The students visited a grapevine germplasm collection farm, a grapevine nursery, grapevine trials, and a grape processing unit.
