Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute

Mary Thomas Urembo is a research assistant in Agronomy department at TARI Dakawa since March 2023. She graduated at Sokoine University of Agriculture in 2021 holding Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering. Prior to joining TARI Dakawa, Mary worked as an agricultural engineer at Alliance One Tobacco Company for one year period from February 2022 where she acquired knowledge and skills on Tobacco processing and Engineering operations management. She hopes to create innovations in Rice technologies that will not only make rice production easier but also inspire the next generation of engineers.
