- Outreaches: Providing technical and advisory services on the use of improved
rice varieties and good agricultural management practices (GAPs) through TV and
radio programs, Agricultural exhibitions (NaneNane), field days, farmer
organizations, etc.
- Partnering with different stakeholders and participating in platforms for the development of the rice subsector in the country.
- Preparing and Conducting training programs and consultancy, at
different levels in the value chain of rice, on varied aspects; be it proper
fertilizers/pesticides application, production, and so forth.
- Producing and selling good quality rice seeds of improved varieties
(pre-basic and certified) thence enhance its availability to farmers and/or
other public and private institutions such as Agricultural Seeds Agency (ASA).
