Researchers from TARI Dakawa conducted a participatory selection of rice seeds on the 19/06/2023, the aim of which is to provide opportunities for stakeholders including farmers to identify and choose seeds that meet their food, business and climate change needs. The exercise involved 60 stakeholders (15 researchers, two agricultural extension workers and 43 farmers) from Mvomero District, Morogoro. For their part, the farmers were grateful to be involved in the selection processes, the results of which will facilitate access to the best rice seeds they need.
