The world celebrates workers' day on May 1 every year. This year (2023), the Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute, Mikocheni Center under Dr. Fred Tairo, Center Manager, joined with all Tanzanians to celebrate Workers' Day, which has been held regionally at the Uhuru Stadium in Temeke District in Dar es Salaam where the official guest was Hon. Amos Makala, Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner. The celebration of the workers had a slogan stated that "Good salaries/wages and decent jobs are pillars for the development of workers" The time is NOW.
