Academic qualifications, work and experience

NsajigwaMwakyusa holds a degree in Agriculture from Sokoine University of Agriculture, in Tanzania (2011) and presently pursuing Masters degree in Plant Breeding and Seed Systems at Makerere University in Uganda. Mr. Nsajigwa has more the 12 years’ experience in agricultural research. He was employed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives in 2014 and currently works with Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI), Kibaha Centre as a Research Assistant. He is actively involved in Cassava and Sugarcane Breeding and Seed Systems related activities. Prior to government employment, Mr. Nsajigwa has worked with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) and the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) on Rice and Cassava breeding activities Research Technician and Research Supervisor respectively.
