Academic Qualifications, Work and Experiences

Zainabu Liumba holds a Bachelor of Science  in Food Science and Technology at Sokoine University of Agriculture -SUA, She employed by Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Co-operatives in 2012 as Agricultural officer.She has  an experience of 12 years with  9 years working under local government as agricultural officer   specialized in food data collection at food warehouses, food stores and markets  as well as budget officer at Temeke and Kigamboni municipals and 3 years under research institution as research assistant at Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute  (TARI), as food scientist working at postharvest department mainly in food product development. 

She attended different conferences whereby in  August 2021 training workshop on writing competitive research proposals funded by COSTECH, January 2016 conference on agribusiness investment for market stimulation programme funded by united state of Department of Agriculture (USDA) ,Dar es Salaam Tanzania and in October 2015  she attended conference on farmers’ market stimulation and price management by platform system prepared by Ministry of industry, business and market at Morogoro Tanzania.
