Qualifications, Work and Experiences

Mr John Bakari Msemo is Senior Agriculture Research officer 1(SRO1) and is working with TARI Kibaha as Technology Transfer specialist. Mr John Msemo is holding Certificate in General Agriculture from  MATI Ukiriguru Agricultural  College, Diploma in Food crop production and Nutrition from MATI-Ilonga, BSc in Home Economics and Human Nutrition from Sokoine University of Agriculture (BSC HE & HN) and Masters of science in Rural Development from University College of Dublin, Ireland.

Mr John used to work with International Institute of Agriculture (IITA) as National Coordinator in a project of Unleashing the power of cassava in Africa(UPOCA), also worked in a project of SADC-FIRCOP in Tanzania with SUA Department of Food Science and Technology. Have over twenty-three years of experience and achieved high level of professional in agriculture research.

Currently is working with Sugarcane research mainly to technology transfer to Sugarcane out growers as technology transfer specialist
