Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute

A mid-career senior research officer possesses a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Laboratory Sciences as well as a Master of Science in Crop Science, with a primary emphasis on Crop Improvement, both of which were acquired from the prestigious Sokoine University of Agriculture. The plant breeder with amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience through a dozen years of actively participating in numerous crop research and development initiatives, including those related to seed systems, crop improvement, plant disease diagnostics, gendered farmer’s participatory activities, and agriculture climate resilience projects in the East Africa region.
