TARI Tumbi

Tari-Tumbi center conducts collaborative research on

  • roots and tubers (cassava and sweet potatoes),
  • cereals (maize, sorghum and rice), legumes and oil crops (sunflower and groundnuts) and
  • horticultural crops.
  • Other collaborative research are on soil and water management and social economic studies. In addition, the centre transfers technology from researchers to stakeholders
