TARI Selian raises its visibility at National Week of Education, Skills and Innovation

TARI Selian was among the 6 TARI centers which participated at the National Week of Education, Skills and Innovation in Tanga. The 5-days exhibition was held at Popatlal Secondary School Grounds. The technologies and innovations from TARI Selian were improved common bean varieties with high Iron and Zinc content; vermicomposting fertilizers; and added value products derived from high Iron and Zinc beans. Through this crucial technology and innovation exhibition about 1000 people who visited the TARI Pavilion appreciated the displayed technologies, innovation and value-added products. From the visitors," remarks and comments, there is high demand for improved common bean varieties, training need for the processors and other small traders on high Iron and Zinc beans.
